located in southern Westchester, seeks talented and motivated individuals
with strong AutoCAD skills capable of taking projects from schematic design to
construction documents. The following positions are available:
1. Jr. Architect/CAD Draftsman (Yonkers, NY)
The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:
* Expertise in AutoCad.
* The ability to work independently.
* Understanding of zoning and building codes.
* Ability to produce complete working construction drawings/documents from start to finish with minimal supervision in timely manner.
* A Bachelor of Architecture degree (preferred) with 3-5 years residential project experience.
* Excellent spoken and written English fluency.
2. Intermediate/Advanced Architect (Yonkers, NY)
The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:
* Expertise in using AutoCad.
* The ability to work independently.
* Understanding of zoning and building codes.
* Ability to produce complete working construction drawings/documents from start to finish with minimal supervision in timely manner.
* Experience in the coordination of construction documents, especially detailing, and fluency in AutoCAD.
* Extensive experience producing drawings, details, and specifications.
* Ability to oversee and evaluate (red-line and mark-up) the production of design documents prepared by junior architects and draftsmen.
* Project management experience, including construction administration, submittal and shop drawing review.
* Self-motivated and has the ability to work both individually and as a part of a team.
* Excellent English communication skills and organization skills.
* A Bachelor of Architecture degree or Master's of Architecture degree with a minimum of 5-7 years experience.
